Procedures and Guidelines
Tuition - Your monthly tuition is a set fee due by the 4th of each month. This amount is based on the length of each class and on the number of times per week your child is scheduled to attend. You are paying for your child’s place in the class, not his or her attendance each month. Since we cannot be responsible for your child’s attendance, we do not refund or carry forward fees for missed classes. Go to our website - www.branchgymnastics.com and log onto the Parent Portal to pay for your childs class. Cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) payments may be made at the front office, or checks (with gymnast’s name) may be mailed to the gym where your child attends. The Battle Creek site’s address is Branch Gymnastics, 393 N Helmer Rd, Battle Creek MI 49037, and the Kalamazoo site is Branch Gymnastics/KidsSports USA, 6712 Financial Pkwy, Kalamazoo MI 49009. We will add a $35 fee to your account for each returned check. Questions about tuition can be directed to our front office manager, at 269-963-4770 for the Battle Creek site, or 269-544-3000 for our Kalamazoo location.
Late Fee - A $5 late fee will be added to your account balance for each enrolled family member if your monthly tuition has not been received by the 4th scheduled practice of the month. For team members, a $25 late fee will be applied for each enrolled member if your payment has not been received by the 1st scheduled lesson of each month.
Returned Check Policy - A $35.00 fee will be charged for each check returned for insufficient funds.
Registration - This is an annual fee for each student due upon registration and is non-refundable and non-transferable. As of August 2012, the fee is $45 per student, with a family maximum of $80.
Family Discount - Branch Gymnastics is a family owned and operated business and we love families! If you have more than one child actively enrolled, we will deduct 10% off regular tuition per month for each additional child. We also offer discounted annual registration fees for families, as stated above.
100% Guarantee of Satisfaction - “NEW” - We are so confident you will love our program that we offer you a “no risk” enrollment guarantee. If, after your first month, you are not completely satisfied with our program, we will give you 100% of your money back! We would appreciate your comments on why you were dissatisfied so that we can learn and continue to improve our services. This offer is available to first-time students to the program only and valid only during the first month of enrollment.

Starting/Ending Classes and Weather Information
Make-up classes - Missed a class? Our policy is to allow your child 3 makeup classes per season (Sept-April), and these classes are to be made up within one month of the missed class. No credits or refunds will be given for more than 3 absences, nor if you are unable to attend the makeup class. Children in the Junior Gym will make up in another class of the same age group. These classes only allow one makeup slot per class and each gymnast must be scheduled in advance. We do not allow makeups in late May and June as the students are preparing for recital, and we do not allow them during our two (2) week evaluation period in April. Students in the Training Gym may attend our makeup class. Please call the office to verify time and date as we occasionally change or cancel the makeup class. You must call in to schedule your make-up class in advance as space is limited.
Open Enrollment - A gymnast may join a class at any time throughout the year, provided there are openings, and the age and ability level are appropriate. If your child changes classes during the year, credits will be transferred. We do not charge an extra fee to change classes!
Withdrawal - “NEW” - If your child must withdraw and stop classes, please complete a withdraw card or email/mail us a letter before the next month starts. Please do not assume that we will automatically drop your child if they have not been attending. If we do not receive written notification of your intention to stop classes, we will consider your child actively enrolled and you will be responsible for tuition until we receive written notification. Our classes run the same schedule month-to-month so you do not have to contact us unless there are changes. We will post your monthly tuition on your account on the first of each month for every enrolled child, and this tuition is due unless you email/mail us or fill out a withdraw card. No refunds or credits are given.
Holiday Closings - Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & Weekend, Holiday Break in December, Easter Weekend, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th).
Weather Related or Emergency Closings -We rarely cancel classes due to weather conditions. If we do cancel class, it will be announced on local radio (WKFR 103.3) and television (Channel 3 WOTV) stations. Please remember that we are not affiliated with the local schools and do not always follow school closings. You may also call our office for information.
